How I Work
What You Get:
You don’t have to be an expert to promote the use of charitable giving vehicles; you do have to know how to effectively start the conversation and know the best way to hand the conversation off to an expert (Estate Planning Attorney or Planned Giving Director for example) for follow-up. My services are intended for people who are not experts in planned or charitable giving vehicles, but would like to be able to promote the use of those vehicles with their donors.
Non-Profit Organizations:
Donors don’t expect you to have all of the answers right at your fingertips, they do expect you to come up with good ideas and know what to do next.
You need an easy reference tool or system to retrieve the important points. Charitable giving vehicles shouldn’t be overly complicated for introduction to you or to a donor. You need an understandable guide.
You need a methodology to winnow down the choices through information and technique so that you present the right ideas the first time. Most of us don’t want more information; we want solutions that are pertinent to our situation and interests.
My Unique Approach
My belief is that you don’t have to be an expert to promote the use of charitable giving vehicles. You do have to know how to effectively start the conversation and then hand the conversation off to an expert (Estate Planning Attorney, Planned Giving Director for example) for follow-up.
My products and services are intended for people who are not experts in planned or charitable giving vehicles, but would like to be able to promote the use of those vehicles with their donors or clients.
I don’t believe that charitable giving has to be heavy or complicated. It can be fun, exciting and inspiring. Additionally, many planned gifts aren’t particularly complicated either.
I am easy to work with and care deeply about your success. My goal is to make sure that every social capital dollar possible is used with intention, instead of going out in taxes because your donor or client didn’t know what else to do.
My intent is to work myself out of a job. I will help you attain skills, knowledge and abilities so that you are ready to pursue charitable giving dollars or business on your own.
